What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website puts on your computer in order to recognise you and your device and as you browse.
Cookies can be used for many purposes, for example to remember who you are next time you visit, to store your preferences, to serve relevant advertising, etc.

How do we use cookies?

Our cookies are used simply for the following purposes:

  1. A 'session cookie' is used to remember your session, i.e. page activities, once you login.
This cookie is essential for the functioning of the website, as web pages don't have a 'memory' of their own.
  2. A 'remember me' cookie is used, if you tick the 'Remember me' box while logging in, to remember you on your next visit even if you close the browser.
  3. 'Annoucement' cookies are used to remember the notifications you've seen so that we don't show them again to you.
